Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily accounting operations and lead the accounting team
- Manage month end and year end closing processes
- Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with IFRS
- Ensure timely reconciliation of accounts, banks, and inventory
- Maintain compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies
- Coordinate internal and external audits
- Monitor cash flow and support budgeting and financial planning
- Strengthen internal controls and improve accounting processes
- Provide financial analysis and reports to senior management
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2–3 years in a Chief Accountant or senior supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting, taxation, and internal controls
- Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent) is preferred
- Hands on experience with SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems
- Experience in commodity trading in Oil and Gas is highly preferred

Position Overview
- We are seeking a highly experienced Chief Accountant to join our finance team.
- This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional with strong leadership skills and extensive experience in financial reporting, accounting operations, and compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2–3 years in a Chief Accountant or senior supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting, taxation, and internal controls.
- Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent) is preferred.
- Hands on experience with SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems.
