- Lead and supervise the accounting team, providing guidance, training, and performance management
- Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing process to ensure timely and accurate reporting
- Manage the General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions
- Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with IFRS and applicable regulatory requirements
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities during audits and compliance reviews
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial transactions
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and statutory requirements
Requirements
- Professional accounting qualification such as CA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 7 years of overall accounting and finance experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience leading or managing an accounting team
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems

Job Summary
- We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Chief Accountant to lead our accounting function and ensure the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of all financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the accounting team, providing guidance, training, and performance management.

Qualifications

- Minimum 3 years of experience leading or managing an accounting team.
- Experience in a medium to large organization is preferred.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards.
- Extensive experience with monthly financial closing processes.
- Strong understanding of General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands on experience with Oracle Fusion ERP.
- Experience in process improvement and automation of accounting functions.
- Experience working in a multinational or fast paced business environment is an advantage.
