Job Summary
- We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant / Chief Accountant to oversee the company's accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance.
- The ideal candidate will have 8–10 years of accounting experience, preferably with PPP projects or a construction industry background, and strong communication skills in English.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day to day accounting operations, including the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial analysis.
- Ensure timely month end and year end closing processes.
- Monitor project costs, budgets, and financial performance for construction or PPP projects.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, financial controls, and UAE regulations.
- Prepare management reports and provide financial insights to support business decisions.
- Supervise and mentor the accounting team.
- Support ERP system implementation and process improvements where required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 8–10 years of accounting experience (not more than 10 years preferred).
- Experience in PPP (Public Private Partnership) projects is highly preferred.
- Candidates with a construction industry background and the ability to learn PPP operations are also encouraged to apply.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar) is an advantage.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills.
- Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, or CA are an advantage.
Salary
- AED 18,000 – 19,000 per month (Full Package)
