Job Description

  • Reporting to the pastry chef to train and supervise the pastry team
  • Design seasonal, innovative pastry menus for all dining outlets and events
  • Ensure consistent quality, taste, and presentation of all pastry items
  • Maintain food safety and hygiene standards
  • Conduct regular quality checks across pastry production
  • Manage budget and control food costs
  • Oversee inventory, ordering, and procurement
  • Handle guest feedback and ensure exceptional pastry experiences
  • Enforce health and safety regulations and maintain kitchen cleanliness

Qualifications

  • Expertise in pastry techniques, chocolate work and bakery production
  • At least 2 3 years in a supervisory role
  • Excellent attention to detail and creativity
  • Efficient, organized, and financially savvy
  • Knowledgeable in food safety and quality standards with HACCP certifications
  • Excellent communicator and team collaborator
