Role overview
Work as a Chef De Partie in the Calo kitchen alongside the head chef.
Support daily kitchen activities, staff oversight, menu preparation, food quality, ordering, and inventory management.
Main responsibilities
- Ensure kitchen operations are timely and meet quality standards.
- Plan and direct food preparation when filling in for the head chef.
- Resolve issues and take control of problematic situations.
- Manage and train kitchen staff, create schedules, and assess performance.
- Communicate tasks clearly to team members.
- Order supplies and maintain appropriate inventory.
- Comply with and enforce sanitation and safety standards.
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers.
- Produce high-quality plates in design and taste.
Ideal candidate
- Previous Chef De Partie experience and at least 5 years in hospitality and catering.
- Currently present in Dubai and proficient in English communication.
