- Decontaminate, reassemble, and sterilize hospital supplies, equipment, and surgical instrumentation
- Use principles of aseptic technique and follow Universal Precautions to prevent Hospital Acquired Infections
- Ensure instrumentation and equipment is in proper working order
- Perform biological, chemical, and quality assurance testing
- Report problems to supervisor or designate
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited Medical Device Reprocessing (MDR) program
- Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) certification or Canadian Standards Association (CSA) certification
- 2 years' experience preferred

Your Opportunity
- As a Surgical Processor, responsible for decontamination, reassembly and sterilization of hospital supplies, equipment and surgical instrumentation.
- Use aseptic technique and Universal Precautions to prevent Hospital Acquired Infections.
- Ensure instrumentation and equipment is in proper working order, perform biological, chemical and quality assurance testing.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Medical Device Reprocessing (MDR) program.
- Completion of an Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) certification or Canadian Standards Association (CSA) certification.

Preferred Qualifications
- 2 years' experience preferred.
- Attention to detail and critical problem solving skills are an asset.
