About the Role

- Bachelor's degree at minimum; preferably MBA/Master's degree
- Solid work experience focusing on procurement or sales
- Strong analytical skills and experience in financial/excel modeling
- International mindset and willingness to travel
- Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Overview
- We are looking for a Category Manager to join our Terminal Procurement team for West and Central Asia within Maersk Procurement within the A.P. Moller Maersk Group.
Key Responsibilities
- Defining the category strategy for your portfolio, in line with global and the regional category strategy with the objective of creating value for our customer by partnering with the right suppliers.
- Mapping and analyzing data on current spend patterns and identifying cost drivers and opportunities in complex marketplaces.
- Developing new models to analyze supplier offers and quantify total costs and total values of ownership.
- Lead negotiations with the suppliers by preparing a comprehensive negotiation strategy.
- Ensure contract compliance by updating the relevant information in the contract management tools.
- Simplify and effectively communicate complex messages to the leadership.

- Holds a Bachelor’s degree at minimum but preferably also an MBA/Master’s degree.
