About the Role
Maersk is seeking an Area Head of Cold Chain Logistics to own the product strategy, develop offerings, and manage P&L for temperature-controlled solutions in the Area market. Requires strong experience in product management, commercial acumen, and cold chain logistics.

Responsibilities
- Own and drive the Area product strategy for Cold Chain Logistics and Temperature Controlled Solutions
- Develop the product offering in line with market needs, customer demand, operational capabilities, and business priorities
- Act as the Area subject matter expert for cold chain logistics, temperature controlled solutions, and temperature sensitive cargo requirements
- Understand the product deeply and translate its capabilities into clear commercial value propositions for Sales and customers
- Partner closely with Sales to understand customer requirements, market opportunities, and commercial challenges
- Support customer discussions by providing product expertise, solution input, technical guidance, and commercial positioning
- Develop and maintain a product roadmap for the Area market, including product development, service enhancements, market expansion, and performance improvement
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities, product gaps, pricing trends, and customer pain points
- Own and manage the product’s financial performance, including full P&L responsibility
- Monitor revenue, cost, profitability, volume, yield, and margin performance
- Provide regular product forecasts in collaboration with Sales and Execution teams
- Identify opportunities to improve revenue growth, cost efficiency, margin performance, and product competitiveness
Requirements
- Strong experience in product management, commercial management, logistics, supply chain, or a related field
- Good understanding of cold chain logistics, temperature controlled solutions, temperature sensitive cargo, and related operational requirements
- Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to understand customer needs and support Sales in converting opportunities
- Strong financial acumen, including P&L management, forecasting, profitability analysis, pricing, cost optimization, and performance tracking
- Ability to develop and adapt products for the Area market while aligning with regional or global product strategies
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence without authority
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and handle most business situations with minimal guidance
- Strong understanding of the interdependencies between Product, Sales, Operations, Customer Experience, and Finance
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem solving skills
- Ability to operate in a complex, cross functional, and commercially demanding environment

Additional Responsibilities
- Work closely with Finance and Commercial teams to ensure pricing, cost structures, forecasts, and service models are financially sustainable.
- Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Customer Experience, Finance, and regional/global teams to ensure successful product execution.
- Influence stakeholders without direct authority to align priorities, resolve challenges, and deliver business outcomes.
- Monitor product performance against agreed KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
- Provide guidance, knowledge sharing, and product expertise to internal teams.
What We Are Looking For
- Strong experience in product management, commercial management, logistics, supply chain, or a related field.
- Good understanding of cold chain logistics, temperature controlled solutions, temperature sensitive cargo, and related operational requirements.
