About the Role
GMG is looking for a Cashier for its Sports retail division to handle cash transactions, update prices, remove security tags, and provide excellent customer service. Candidates need a high school diploma and 1-3 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities
- Ensure prices are updated regularly in the system
- Count cash after the last customer leaves the showroom
- Ensure proper rates/denominations of currencies
- Conduct security checks for currency/credit cards/cheques when required
- Remove security tags from garments and items purchased by customer
- Advise customers on availability of gift vouchers and promotions
- Take full responsibility for security of designated till and cash/valuables
- Provide pricing information by answering questions
- Count money in cash drawers at beginning of shifts to ensure correct amounts and adequate change
- Follow close down procedures for designated till at end of trading
Requirements
- High School / Diploma
- A minimum of 1 to 3 years of relevant experience
- Product/brand knowledge

About the role
- The role holder will be responsible for products and services to customers with the aim of maximizing sales opportunities and providing exceptional service.
Core Responsibilities
- Ensures that the prices are updated regularly in the system
- Ensures counting of cash after the last customer leaves the showroom
- Ensures proper rates/ denominations of currencies
- Conducts security checks for the currency/ credit cards/ cheques etc. when required
- Removes security tags from garments and items purchased by customer

- Takes full responsibility for the security of their designated till and the cash and other valuables within
- Provides pricing information by answering questions
