Job Description
The Business Systems Analyst – Salesforce acts as a liaison between business needs and Salesforce technical solutions.
The role analyzes business processes, defines functional requirements, and supports implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of business systems.
Core Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business needs and system requirements, then translate them into functional and non-functional requirements with measurable success criteria.
- Analyze current-state and future-state processes and model them using BPMN, Visio, or similar tools.
- Maintain BRDs, FRDs, user stories, use cases, RTMs, fit-gap and impact analyses, CAB requests, and workshop documentation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, and developers on scalable solutions and manage product and solution roadmaps.
- Coordinate application lifecycle activities involving maintenance, upgrades, vendors, security, performance, and enhancements.
- Facilitate workshops, meetings, and decision-making committees to support cross-functional collaboration.
Quality, Integration, and Support
- Support test plans, test cases, UAT, requirements validation, and defect management.
- Contribute to interface design, data mapping and validation, and data quality and integrity for system integrations.
- Support change impact assessments, readiness, training, and knowledge transfer.
- Provide Level 3 application support and coordinate Level 4 escalations with vendors and development teams.
- Monitor solution performance, recommend improvements, and contribute to governance and long-term value creation.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or Functional Analyst.
- Bilingual written and spoken proficiency in French and English.
- Good knowledge of Salesforce.
- Experience with Confluence, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Office Suite, and SharePoint.
- Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
- Basic SQL and business intelligence reporting knowledge is an asset.
