About the Role
Remitly is hiring a Head of Operations to oversee operations across the UAE region.
The role focuses on operational excellence, outsourcing governance, regulatory compliance, and scalable processes.

Core Responsibilities
- Oversee the UAE outsourcing framework, outsourcing register, associated risks, and governance reporting.
- Maintain intercompany agreements, audit logs, and service provider records in line with UAE requirements.
- Monitor outsourcing boundaries, provider SLAs, incidents, customer complaints, and operational resilience.
- Prepare operational data analysis, dashboards, management reports, and quarterly Board reports.
- Own first-line risk assessments and control inventories for outsourced functions and services.
- Identify process inefficiencies and design scalable workflows aligned with industry best practices.
Requirements
- Meet the minimum standards under the Central Bank of the UAE Fit and Proper requirements before appointment.
- Demonstrate a track record of driving operational excellence and implementing scalable processes.
- Have experience governing outsourcing arrangements and associated risks in a regulated environment.
- Have strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Be able to collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Risk, and leadership stakeholders.
