Job Summary

  • The Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for collecting, validating, and analyzing data to generate insights that support commercial and operational decision making across Everyday Goods Retail division.
  • The incumbent will develop dashboards, reports, and analytical models to enable stakeholders to monitor performance, identify trends, solve business issues, and drive data led decisions.

Job Responsibilities

  • Collect, validate, and analyze data from multiple sources to support reporting and business decision making.
  • Prepare and maintain dashboards, reports, and performance trackers for commercial and operational teams.
  • Monitor key KPIs related to sales, inventory, assortment, shelf availability, and store productivity.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify performance gaps, data issues, and improvement opportunities.
  • Support sales forecasting, assortment optimization, and inventory related analysis through data driven insights.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to understand reporting requirements and ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend analytical solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
  • Additional tasks and responsibilities may be assigned by management as necessary to support business needs.

Functional / Technical Competencies

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Knowledge of dashboard development, data visualization, and management reporting.
  • Understanding of retail / FMCG KPIs such as sales, inventory, assortment, and store productivity.
  • Familiarity with ERP / SAP systems and database management concepts.
  • Strong attention to detail, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
