Join the logistics team in a freight-forwarding management position.
The role covers daily freight operations, shipment coordination, customer support, and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily freight-forwarding operations.
- Coordinate air, sea, and land shipments.
- Handle bookings, shipment tracking, and delivery coordination.
- Prepare and verify shipping and customs documents.
- Coordinate with airlines, shipping lines, transporters, customs agents, and overseas partners.
- Follow up on shipments and resolve operational issues quickly.
- Prepare freight quotations and negotiate rates with service providers.
- Maintain relationships with customers and agents.
- Supervise the operations team and ensure work is completed on time.
- Monitor costs, billing, and shipment profitability.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and Qatar customs requirements.
- Provide operational updates and reports to management.
Requirements
- Hold a diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain, freight forwarding, or a related field.
- Have at least five years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics.
- Have good knowledge of air, sea, and land freight.
- Have experience in shipment documentation and customs procedures.
- Possess communication, customer-handling, negotiation, problem-solving, team-management, and coordination skills.
- Have knowledge of MS Office and logistics systems.
- Qatar or GCC experience is an advantage.
- Immediate joiners are highly preferred.
