About the Role
Join the logistics team in Qatar as an Assistant Manager focused on freight-forwarding operations.
Manage daily freight operations, coordinate shipments, support customers, and ensure smooth and timely delivery.
Joining
- Immediate joiners are highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily freight-forwarding operations and coordinate air, sea, and land shipments.
- Handle bookings, shipment tracking, delivery coordination, and operational issue resolution.
- Prepare and verify shipping and customs documents.
- Coordinate with airlines, shipping lines, transporters, customs agents, and overseas partners.
- Prepare freight quotations and negotiate rates with service providers.
- Maintain relationships with customers and agents.
- Supervise the operations team and ensure work is completed on time.
- Monitor costs, billing, and shipment profitability.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and Qatar customs requirements.
- Provide regular operational updates and reports to management.
