Job Description

  • The Business Development Officer is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities that support the Company's growth objectives.
  • The role focuses on generating qualified business opportunities by engaging prospective clients, introducing the Company's services, understanding their initial requirements, and arranging meetings with the technical team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage prospective clients through marketing leads, referrals, market research, databases, networking activities, and direct prospecting.
  • Conduct initial communications with potential clients to introduce the Company's services and capabilities.
  • Understand clients' preliminary requirements and identify potential business opportunities aligned with the Company's services.
  • Qualify prospective clients and coordinate meetings between clients and the Company's technical team.
  • Maintain regular follow up with prospective clients to ensure continuous engagement throughout the pre proposal stage.
  • Maintain and update the CRM system with accurate client information, communications, and opportunity status.
  • Coordinate with the Marketing and Technical teams to ensure effective communication and timely follow up.
  • Support the preparation and coordination of proposals, presentations, and business development materials when required.
  • Monitor market trends, competitors, and emerging business opportunities, and provide regular feedback to management.
  • Represent the Company professionally during meetings, networking events, exhibitions, and other business development activities.
  • Prepare periodic reports summarizing business development activities, lead status, and market observations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 3–5 years of experience in business development, sales, client relations, or customer engagement, preferably within engineering consultancy, construction, real estate, or related industries.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent relationship building and client engagement abilities.
  • Strong organizational and follow up skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Experience with CRM systems is an advantage.
  • Good understanding of the UAE business environment and professional communication practices.
  • Fluent in Arabic and proficient in English, both spoken and written.
  • UAE driving licence is preferred.

Pay

  • AED 8,000.00 AED 10,000.00 per month
