Position

  • Business Development Department Manager, Location: Abu Dhabi, Department: Oilfield Technical Service Company

Job Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for oil service market business development. Align the company’s products with client demands, conduct pre project demand communication, feasibility analysis and guiding planning to generate formal business opportunities.
  • Oversee the full bidding process. Independently review and analyze tender documents, coordinate technical and commercial teams to complete bidding planning, cost estimation and quotation compilation.
  • Lead technical exchanges with clients together with the company’s technical and commercial teams independently, deliver customized solutions and build sustainable competitive advantages.
  • Conduct profit and loss calculation and build financial models for bid projects, ensuring bidding schemes feature reasonable profit margins and effective cost control strategies.
  • Manage full life cycle of awarded projects. Lead and coordinate cross functional resources to drive project kick off and delivery, guarantee smooth project implementation and payment collection.
  • Conduct ongoing industry research and market surveys, collect competitor intelligence, and put forward suggestions for the company’s business planning, technical capability upgrading and long term strategy formulation.
  • Establish and maintain long term cooperative partnerships with oil operator clients, tap into in depth client demands, boost client value contribution and repeat business rate of key clients.

Requirements

  • Over 15 years of working experience in oilfield service companies, with profound industry background and solid professional expertise.
  • Proficient in petroleum technical English for professional document reading, and fluent in Chinese for commercial communication.
  • More than 5 years of comprehensive bidding experience in oilfield service marketing. Familiar with tender procedures of oil producing countries, capable of independent bidding operation, tender document review, abstract preparation and overall bidding organization.
  • Able to independently organize the company’s technical and commercial teams for client technical exchanges, with outstanding cross departmental coordination and project management capabilities.
  • Capable of calculating and formulating profit and loss structure for bidding projects, with sharp insight and control over business financial indicators and quotas.
  • Candidates with a track record of successful independent bidding and experience leading project launch and delivery are preferred (please list relevant successful cases in the resume).
  • Fully recognize Anton’s corporate culture, possess strong business pioneering spirit and stress tolerance. Able to travel frequently and be stationed at project sites for bidding and pre sales work long term.
