Role Overview
Amazon Now is building a quick-commerce business focused on availability and customer experience.
The Business Analyst will work with data and multiple stakeholders to identify operational gaps, improve processes, and implement scalable solutions.
The role covers initiatives across product, program management, instock, supply chain, fulfillment, and planning teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain dashboards for customer engagement, supply chain, and in-stock metrics.
- Analyze data to identify trends, surface insights, and support decision-making.
- Improve metrics visibility for internal stakeholders.
- Drive process improvement initiatives and participate in cross-functional working groups.
- Collaborate with supply chain, fulfillment, and planning teams to improve operational performance.
- Analyze operational challenges end-to-end and implement corrective actions.
- Source store-level pricing and promotions and execute them using internal tools.
- Provide occasional weekend coverage without exceeding a five-day work week.
Candidate Profile
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with large datasets and build meaningful solutions.
- Ability to identify root causes, drive fixes across teams, and manage cross-functional dependencies.
- Detail orientation, accuracy in data handling and reporting, initiative, independence, and clear communication.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- At least 1 year of relevant work experience.
- Experience with SQL and Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Tableau, QuickSight, or similar data visualization tools is preferred.
- At least 3 years of complex Excel VBA macro writing experience is preferred.
- Experience with ETL is preferred.
