Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced

Business Analyst with Finastra Loan IQ expertise

to support implementation, integration, and enhancement of loan management systems.

The role involves working closely with business and IT teams to analyze requirements, design solutions, and ensure seamless system functionality across banking operations.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

1. Business Analysis & Requirement Gathering

  • Gather, analyze, and document
  • business requirements (BRS/FRS)
  • Translate business needs into
  • functional specifications and test cases
  • Perform
  • process analysis and mapping

2. Loan IQ Implementation & Support

  • Support
  • Loan IQ system implementations and enhancements
  • Work on:
  • Loan processing
  • Accounting, pricing, accruals
  • Syndicated & bilateral deals
  • Provide functional and technical support

3. System Integration & Development Support

  • Support integrations with:
  • Core banking systems
  • External applications
  • Work with:
  • REST APIs
  • XML-based integrations
  • Assist in debugging and resolving
  • interface and functional issues

4. Loan IQ Technical & Functional Expertise

  • Work with Loan IQ components:
  • SDK (Inquiry scripts, event management, scripted APIs, batch processes)
  • Data dictionary (v7.7.x)
  • Data model and framework
  • Manage:
  • Event triggers, controller events
  • Inquiry APIs and scripted batches

5. Testing & Quality Assurance

  • Support
  • SIT and UAT testing
  • Perform:
  • Test case creation
  • Regression testing
  • Defect lifecycle management
  • Track and report testing status

6. Loan IQ Functional Modules

  • Handle modules such as:
  • Customer setup, deal & facility building
  • Portfolio management & outstanding creation
  • Payments (principal, interest, fees)
  • Secondary sales, trade tickets, swaps, collaterals
  • Repayment schedules, ticklers, adhoc queries

7. Accounting & Payments

  • Manage:
  • GL entries (Batch & Online accounting)
  • MX payments
  • Fee structures and payment processing

8. Documentation & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Maintain documentation for:
  • Business processes
  • System changes
  • User manuals and training materials
  • Coordinate with:
  • Business users
  • IT teams
  • External vendors

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or related field
  • **5+ years of experience**
  • in Loan IQ implementations
  • Minimum
  • 3+ years in IT/banking systems
  • 🧠 Required Skills

Core Functional Skills

  • Finastra Loan IQ (implementation & support)
  • Loan lifecycle management
  • Syndicated & bilateral loan processing

Technical Skills

  • Loan IQ SDK (Inquiry scripts, APIs, batch processing)

  • Oracle (PL/SQL, stored procedures)

Banking Domain Knowledge

  • Loan administration systems
