About the Role
Support a high-performing Retail Brand Experience team that brings brand stories, product innovations, and guest experiences to life across retail environments.
Drive complex initiatives from concept through execution while partnering with cross-functional teams to meet schedule, budget, and business objectives.
The role combines program management with retail design, interior design, store development, or visual merchandising experience.
Contract and Rate
- The contract length is 6 months, with the project expected to continue for more than 18 months.
- The stated rate is $50-$55 per hour.

Location
- The role is based in Vancouver, British Columbia, with 4 days onsite.
What You Will Do
- Lead and coordinate large-scale retail brand experience initiatives from concept through implementation.
- Partner with Store Development, Brand Experience, Creative, Marketing, Operations, and external vendors.
- Manage plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, risks, and deliverables across multiple workstreams.
- Support store environment, signage, fixture, hardware installation, merchandising, and guest experience projects.
- Facilitate reviews, working sessions, stakeholder meetings, and project updates.
- Maintain agendas, decisions, action items, documentation, and project tracking.
- Identify risks, develop contingency plans, and keep initiatives on track.
- Support research, concept development, prototyping, testing, and implementation of retail innovations.
- Translate guest insights, market research, and feedback into recommendations and project plans.
- Create scalable processes and workflows to improve team efficiency and execution.
- Manage concurrent programs while maintaining detail and stakeholder alignment.
Required Qualifications
- At least 8 years of project or program management experience.
- Experience in retail brand experience, visual merchandising, store operations, marketing operations, or experiential marketing.
- Proven success managing complex cross-functional programs from planning through execution.
- Strong understanding of retail environments and physical store experience development.
- Experience coordinating with stakeholders, creative teams, vendors, and operational partners.
- Exceptional project planning, timeline management, organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in ambiguous environments and drive projects independently.
- High attention to detail with strong documentation, note-taking, and project tracking skills.
Technical Skills
- Experience using Smartsheet, Airtable, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Office Suite, and project management or collaboration tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Retail design, interior design, store development, visual merchandising, brand experience, or related background is preferred.
- Experience with seasonal campaigns, retail activations, or large-scale product launches is preferred.
- Experience with creative teams, agencies, brand activation partners, process improvement, workflows, automation, resource planning, budget tracking, or reporting is preferred.
- Familiarity with omnichannel retail environments and PMP, Agile, or other project management certifications is preferred.
