Pricing Analyst

Contract and rate

• This is a six-month contract with a possibility of extension.
• The pay rate is CAD 34 to CAD 40 per hour.

Location and workplace

• The role is based in Calgary, Alberta, and is hybrid.

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Manage pricing functions and support market analysis and forecasting initiatives.
• Work with marketing, trading, logistics, and accounting teams to ensure accurate pricing and reporting.
• Contribute to data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Required skills and experience

• One to three years of experience in analytics, pricing, finance, or a related field.
• Advanced Excel skills for modelling, data analysis, and large datasets.
• Experience with Power BI and/or Power Query.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with inventory.
• Experience with pricing data, reporting, or forecasting.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice-to-have qualifications

• Experience with VBA or VBS.
• Background in energy, commodities, or NGL markets.
• Experience building forecasting or supply-and-demand models.
• Exposure to data warehousing or analytics libraries.
• Progress toward or completion of CFA Level 1.
