About the Role
Quantum Talent Group is seeking a BIM Software Engineer to develop cloud-based BIM data processing solutions using Autodesk Platform Services (APS). The role involves building workflows with Data Management API and Model Derivative API, designing automated pipelines, and processing large-scale Revit and IFC models.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain cloud based BIM data processing solutions using Autodesk Platform Services (APS)
- Build workflows leveraging Data Management API and Model Derivative API to ingest, translate, and extract data from Revit models
- Design and develop automated pipelines for extracting element properties, parameters, metadata, and geometry from BIM models
- Structure and transform BIM data into scalable analytical formats such as JSON, SQL, and Parquet
- Develop reliable asynchronous processing workflows, including job orchestration, webhooks, retry mechanisms, and error handling
- Process and analyze large scale Revit and IFC models while ensuring performance, scalability, and data integrity
- Develop solutions for BIM model federation, data aggregation, and cross discipline analysis
- Validate extracted model data through reconciliation, schema validation, and quality assurance processes
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and BIM stakeholders to define data requirements and deliver scalable solutions
- Maintain source control, testing, and deployment best practices throughout the software development lifecycle
Requirements
- Experience with Autodesk Platform Services (APS) / Autodesk Forge
- Proficiency in Python
- Experience with Model Derivative API and Data Management API
- Experience working with Revit as a BIM data source
- Experience building and consuming REST APIs
- Understanding of cloud based and asynchronous processing architecture
- Experience with IFC (Industry Foundation Classes)
- Experience with Git
- Experience with SQL, JSON, or Parquet
