Role Overview
ARX is seeking a BIM Coordinator for its Dubai site office.
The role focuses on electrical, low-current, ICT, ELV, security, fire alarm, life safety, containment, lighting, and MEP spatial coordination.
The coordinator will verify discipline models, support federated model delivery, run audits and clash checks, and present coordination issues to project stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and verify electrical and low-current BIM models for federation, review, clash detection, and information exchange.
- Coordinate electrical, ICT, ELV, security, fire alarm, lighting, containment, risers, equipment rooms, substations, generator, UPS, and specialist systems.
- Review spatial coordination, access clearances, equipment interfaces, penetrations, builders' work openings, and model-derived quantities.
- Run model audits covering LOD/LOI, naming, worksets, coordinates, links, parameters, templates, sheets, and data completeness.
- Prepare clash reports, viewpoints, issue logs, coordination comments, and model status reports using Navisworks Manage, ACC/BIM 360, and ACONEX.
- Support 4D sequencing, 5D quantity extraction, asset data preparation, Revit family review, model cleanup, and linked model management.
- Maintain ISO 19650-aligned CDE workflows and contribute to BIM automation, QA routines, meetings, workshops, and presentations.
