Role Overview

  • The Bid Consultant manages and enhances the end to end bid process, ensuring high quality, compliant, and competitive submissions.
  • The role involves coordinating cross functional teams, shaping winning strategies, and developing compelling proposals.

Core Responsibilities

  • Organize and lead bid kick off meetings to align stakeholders on scope, timelines, and strategy.
  • Develop and manage the bid plan, clearly defining roles, responsibilities, and timelines across stakeholders.
  • Monitor bid progress, identify risks, and proactively escalate issues to ensure timely and compliant submissions.
  • Coordinate the development of the bid cost structure in collaboration with Offshore Estimator.
  • Support the identification and coordination of bid partners and vendors as required.
  • Prepare and review bid documentation, ensuring full compliance with client RFP requirements and internal quality standards.
  • Identify and coordinate required pre bid agreements, clarifications, and compliance requirements.
  • Manage registration and submission processes across client procurement portals.
  • Support the development of the bid P&L and contribute to defining the win strategy in collaboration with sales leadership and management.
  • Manage the final submission process, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to deadlines.
  • Ensure consistency, quality, and messaging across all bid responses.
  • Maintain a repository of reusable bid content, templates, and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
  • APMP (Foundation or Practitioner) highly preferred.
  • PMP or PRINCE2 is a plus.
  • 4 6 years of experience in bid management, proposal development, or a related role.
  • Experience in bid writing or project management is advantageous.

  • High attention to detail and quality assurance mindset.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and challenge inputs constructively.
  • Proficiency in collaboration tools (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, CRM systems).

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
