About the Role
Al Tayer Insignia is looking for a passionate and strategic Beauty Buyer to lead planning, forecasting, and purchasing of a commercially strong product assortment. Requires 5+ years of buying experience in the beauty industry, preferably multi-brand and luxury segment.

Responsibilities
- Analyse market trends, consumer preferences, sell through, seasonal demands etc to formulate a buying practice in line with consumer/store demands
- Plan and select the range, type, quality and quantity of merchandise according to customer demand, trends, store policies and set prices and sell through targets
- Carry out purchasing activities in line with the brand purchase plans
- Maintain profitable relationships with existing suppliers/principals, and monitor adherence to contract terms
- Monitor stock levels in stores; coordinate with planning team to maintain optimal stock levels
- Support promotional activities in store and ensure merchandise availability in time and right quantities
- Support PR and Marketing teams by guiding and validating product selection for planned campaigns
- Keep abreast of market trends and awareness of competitor activities
- Negotiate with suppliers on provision of training for concerned product; manage brand training of staff
- Review buying feedback reports and monitor sales performance on weekly basis against set targets
- Prepare periodic reports analysing sale turnover and consumer trends per product
- Conduct regular store visits in all markets to review brand performance and competitor activities
Requirements
- Proven track record in the field of Buying & Retailing in the Beauty industry, preferably multi brand
- 5+ years' experience in Buying with clear focus on Beauty
- Experience in luxury Beauty segment

Role Overview
- We’re looking for a passionate and strategic Beauty Buyer to lead the planning, forecasting, and purchasing of a commercially strong and customer focused product assortment.
- This role is key in identifying the right product mix and buying volumes that not only meet evolving customer needs but also drive profitability and support brand positioning.
- You’ll be working across an exciting portfolio of prestige and luxury beauty brands with exposure to both online and offline retail channels.
Functional Roles and Responsibilities
- Analyse market trends, consumer preferences, sell through, seasonal demands etc to formulate a buying practice in line with consumer /store demands
- Plan and select the range, type, quality and quantity of merchandise according to customer demand, trends, store policies and set prices and sell through targets in conjunction with the Division Merchandise Manager/GMM
- Carry out purchasing activities in line with the brand purchase plans.
- Maintain profitable relationships with existing suppliers/principals, and monitor the adherence to the contract terms
- Monitor the stock levels in the stores; coordinate with planning team to maintain optimal stock levels in line with the consumer demand.
- Support the promotional activities in the store and ensure the merchandise is available in time and in right quantities.
- Support PR and Marketing teams by guiding and validating the selection of products to be included in planned campaign
- Keep abreast of market trends and awareness of competitor activities
- Negotiate with suppliers on provision of training for the concerned product. Manage the brand training of staff in the area
- Review buying feedback reports and monitor sales performance on weekly basis against set targets and provide recommendations to DMM
- Prepare periodic reports both for the business and as requested by principals analysing the sale turnover and consumer trends per product
- Conduct regular store visits in all markets to review brand performance and competitor activities
People Management Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and direction to subordinates towards the achievement of goals and objectives.
Experience
- Proven track record in the field of Buying & Retailing in the Beauty industry, preferably multi brand
- 5+ years' experience in Buying with clear focus on Beauty
- Experience in luxury Beauty segment
