About the Role
Al Tayer Insignia seeks a Senior Digital Merchandiser for Bloomingdale's to enhance onsite customer experience, product discovery, and maximize sales for Luxury Womenswear. Responsibilities
- Assure timely and accurate site content, including product images, descriptions, promotional messaging
- Ensure accuracy of product information, including sizing, color and category classification
- Optimize product discoverability, including visual merchandising, home page exposure, onsite search, sorting rules, product placement
- Manage mapping and category population so that all products are represented in the correct pages on site
- Manage on site launches in collaboration with Buying, Studio, Content and Marketing teams
- Review live site merchandising daily including links to landing pages, size guides, stock availability
- Manage mega nav, ensuring correct navigation structure, seasonal updates, links are working correctly
- Own size guides, ensuring correct functionality and updating any new / brand specific configurations
- Collaborate with other Digital Merchandisers on cross site edits for seasonal and promotional campaigns
- Analyze past performance to define campaign strategies, including brands/ categories/ products to expose
- Daily analysis of customer engagement and sales performance, comparing to budget, previous week and previous year
- Track relevant sales funnel KPIs, identify areas for improvements and own completion of required actions
Requirements
- 4+ years of online merchandising experience within luxury retail, preferably multi brand
- Experience with Google Analytics
- Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud
- Strong analytical, excel and mathematical skills
- Fluent in English
- Experience with process optimisation and driving efficiency
- Commercially aware, with creative flair and love for luxury fashion and beauty product

Role Overview

Functional Roles and Responsibilities

- Optimization of product discoverability, including visual merchandising, home page exposure, onsite search, sorting rules, product placement, on site content.

Years of Experience
- 4+ years of online merchandising experience within luxury retail, preferably multi brand.
Knowledge and Skills
- Experience with Google Analytics
- Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud
- Experience with process optimisation and driving efficiency
- Ability to work well independently and in a team setting.
- Strong individual problem solving and organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A keen eye for details across both quantitative and qualitative data.
- Strong analytical, excel and mathematical skills, ideally gained in a planning environment.
- Commercially aware, with creative flair and love for the luxury fashion and beauty product.
