Role Overview

  • This role is responsible for helping to build brands and develop brand strategy for new and existing brands across Al Tayer Beauty (UAE & GCC)
  • Work and collaborate with different business channels to develop Trade/Client experience proposition, vision, values, insights, competitive differentiation and target audience
  • Brand development and budgeting is key skill in managing internal and external stakeholders

Strategic Roles and Responsibilities

  • Ensure key performance indicators qualitative & quantitative are achieved successfully (sales target & profitability, people management, brand relationship, business expansion etc.)
  • Develop & drive trade, strong skills in building brand agenda across the portfolios
  • Focus on brand expansion and the necessary skills to attract target customers
  • Help structure research requirements based on market trend & competitive analysis
  • Be data driven, leveraging target customer and competitive analysis to make strategic decisions
  • Analyze collated data and CRM information to understand customer insights and brand positioning
  • Strong communication skills with trade growth in mind

Functional Roles and Responsibilities

  • Brand specialization with purpose of strategic equities behind the brand, project character, and key differentiators
  • Lead day to day relationship with internal & external stakeholders
  • Lead budget management for full year along inventory OTB and A&P allocation
  • Support all brand strategy requirements across portfolio through development of new brands and rebranding
  • Support all brand research requirements and ensure follow through action plans
  • Assist in development of School of strategic roll out vs initial expansion plan
  • Support brand capability building curriculum and agenda for coaching requirements
  • Support maintenance of brand intellectual property management with legal department
  • Organize and deploy full working engagement calendars/events/PR and lead operational execution
  • Simplify complex tasks into simple and effective communication/working tasks
  • Plan and organize multiple priorities driving multiple concurrent projects in an agile environment
  • Support maintenance of brand intellectual contractual management with legal department

People Management Roles and Responsibilities

  • Guide and motivate subordinates to enhance performance and produce quality work
  • Identify key talent and ensure development plan is in place for career pathway
  • Prepare business reports monthly/periodically for submission to Head of Distribution and stakeholders

Experience

  • 5 7 years in the relevant field within the Beauty industry
  • Experience in the Beauty industry is essential
  • Good knowledge of strategic and financial indicators
  • Previous experience managing Profit & Loss Account
  • Strong written and verbal skills with ability to simplify complex topics
  • Strong communication skills and well balanced personality
  • Ability to work in a diverse environment, strong planning skills
  • Familiar with GCC regional trends and insights
  • Strong understanding of culture and regional sensitivities

Languages

  • Fluent in English
  • Arabic/ French language is an advantage
