Overview

  • Al Tayer Insignia is looking for an experienced Project Executive to join the Project Delivery team for Ounass and F&B business.
  • The role involves managing end to end delivery of retail fit out and construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

What you'll be doing

  • Prepare a project execution plan in consultation with Business, Design and the Developers.
  • Implement approved procedures for tendering, selection and appointment of contractors.
  • Develop project strategic program detailing key milestones including concept and detail design delivery, procurement, contractor's scope, construction period and handover.
  • Manage the design process ensuring agreed design milestone deliverables are met.
  • Float tenders, invite proposals, analyze and recommend vendors/subcontractors/suppliers.
  • Review and approve drawings submitted by contractors and ensure examination by all parties.
  • Coordinate with Consultants and contractors on drawings, programs, schedules and ensure timely resolution.
  • Manage all aspects of individual project contract requirements.
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure materials meet client specifications and coordinate adherence to quality, health and safety regulations.
  • Prepare and update store tracking report weekly to reflect progress and flag risks.
  • Coordinate with QS to produce CAPEX for new projects in a timely manner.
  • Provide accurate information to QS on percentage of jobs completed and variations.

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent technical qualification relevant to construction project management.
  • 8–10 years' experience delivering retail fit out or construction projects in a responsible project management position.
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
  • Proven planning, organizing and project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Solid relationship management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to resolve routine issues independently.
  • Ability to identify/manage potential risk.
  • Capable of prioritizing work in alignment with business goals.
  • Communicates clearly, effectively and professionally.
  • Ability to effectively interface and communicate with all key internal partners including sales, marketing, Facilities and risk management.
  • Customer / Client experience focused.
