About the Job

Bartender Duties

• Explain the outlet concept and food and beverage offerings to guests.
• Prepare cocktails, non-alcoholic drinks, spirits, beers, and wines according to standards.
• Handle customer complaints and report them to managers.
• Set up the bar counter and prepare ingredients and equipment for service.
• Check inventory and prevent stock shortages.
• Clean and sanitize bar areas and label products correctly.
• Assist with new drinks and cocktails for promotions and menus.
• Operate the point-of-sale system to process orders.

Qualifications and Experience

• High school qualification or equivalent is required.
• A degree or Higher National Diploma in hospitality, hotel, or business management is preferred.
• Three years of high-end bar experience and at least two years in a luxury hotel or resort are required.
• Basic computer skills, including MS Office, are required.

Service Skills

• Strong verbal and written English communication skills are required.
• Knowledge of bar service procedures, spirits, and cigars is required.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills with attention to detail are expected.
