Key Responsibilities
1.
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, including espresso, cappuccino, latte, and cold brew, according to company recipes and standards.
2.
Operate espresso machines, coffee grinders, and other equipment with precision and skill to ensure consistent quality in each beverage.
3.
Customize drink orders based on customer preferences, including adjusting the strength, sweetness, and milk type as requested.
4.
Greet customers warmly, engaging with them in a friendly and courteous manner.
5.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the café, including the coffee preparation area, service counter, and dining area.
6.
Clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, and work surfaces regularly to ensure food safety and hygiene standards are met.
7.
Restock supplies, such as coffee beans, milk, syrups, and disposable cups, as needed to ensure uninterrupted service.
8.
Familiarize with the café's menu offerings, including coffee blends, tea selections, and specialty drinks, to provide accurate information to customers.
9.
Creating new drinks based on the season is a great way to attract customers and keep your menu fresh and exciting.
10.
Stay informed about coffee industry trends, brewing techniques, and flavor profiles to enhance your knowledge and skills as a barista.
11.
Performs other duties assigned.
Qualification, Experience & Knowledge
- · High School Diploma, or equivalent.
- · 3 years previous experience as a barista preferably in a café, coffee shop, or restaurant setting.
- · Knowledge of coffee brewing methods, espresso preparation, and latte art techniques.
- · Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to engage with customers in a positive and friendly manner.
- · Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- · Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- · Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Preferred LADY.
- · With valid Food Handling Certificate.
- · With valid QID and NOC.
- · Willing to start immediately.
