About the Role
Air Arabia is seeking a B1 Technician for base maintenance to perform airframe and engine maintenance on Air Arabia and third-party aircraft. The role involves inspections, repairs, defect rectification, and component replacement to ensure aircraft serviceability.

Responsibilities
- Review assigned task cards with the Engineer in Charge to gain full understanding of the work, priorities, documentation requirements and cautions
- Prepare and perform scheduled aircraft maintenance according to assigned task cards
- Carry out aircraft test and inspection tasks to identify and record defects or damage
- Carry out repairs, component replacements and tests as instructed by assigned task cards
- Ensure proper tooling/equipment is drawn from stores and returned in good condition
- Regularly report the status of assigned tasks to the Engineer in Charge
- Manage safety of own assigned maintenance tasks, taking all mandatory precautions
- Maintain positive cost awareness, minimizing waste of consumable material and part repair cost
Requirements
- Qualified and experienced Civil Aircraft Maintenance Technician
- At least 2 years’ experience performing maintenance on large commercial aircraft, preferably Airbus types
- At least 2 years’ experience in a Base Maintenance environment
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English to a good standard for technical communications
- Ability to use computer (Microsoft Office)
- Ability to obtain UAE Driver’s License

Job Purpose
- Assist the Engineer in carrying out airframe and engine maintenance tasks on Air Arabia and third party aircraft.
- Support inspections, repairs, defect rectification, and component replacement to ensure aircraft serviceability and operational readiness.
- Perform assigned maintenance activities and record completed work accurately in full compliance with Air Arabia procedures and regulatory requirements.
Key Result Responsibilities
- Reviews assigned task cards with the Engineer in Charge to gain full understanding of the work.
- Prepares and performs scheduled aircraft maintenance according to assigned task cards.
- Carries out aircraft test and inspection tasks to identify and record defects or damage.
- Carries out repairs, component replacements and tests as instructed by assigned task cards.
- Ensures proper tooling/equipment is drawn from stores and returned in good condition.
- Regularly reports the status of assigned tasks to the Engineer in Charge.
- Demonstrates high level of consideration to housekeeping standards.
- Manages safety of own assigned maintenance tasks, taking all mandatory precautions.
- Takes positive steps to protect self and other persons from injury.
- Pays attention to human factors aspects of maintenance.
- Provides helpful information and support to own team and other department personnel.
- Presents a positive and competent image of technical professionalism.
Qualifications
- Qualified and experienced Civil Aircraft Maintenance Technician.
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English to a good standard for technical communications.
- Ability to use computer (Microsoft Office).
- Ability to obtain UAE Driver’s License.
Work Experience
- At least 2 years’ experience performing maintenance on large commercial aircraft, preferably Airbus types.
- At least 2 years’ experience in a Base Maintenance environment.
- Able to demonstrate solid basic understanding of Airframe and Engine Maintenance theory and practice.
