About the Role

- Conduct statutory and internal audits for mainland and freezone companies
- Evaluate accounting systems and internal controls, identify risks, and recommend improvements
- Analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with UAE regulations and financial reporting standards
- Assist in audit planning, risk assessments, and engagement strategies
- Perform audit fieldwork including sampling, testing, and documentation
- Prepare detailed audit reports with findings and recommendations
- Liaise with client management to resolve audit related matters professionally
- Stay updated on UAE laws, VAT regulations, Corporate Tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CA / ACCA / CPA candidates preferred
- 1 year of audit experience in the UAE (mandatory)
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, UAE tax regulations, and audit procedures
- Familiarity with auditing requirements for mainland and freezone entities
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho, or other ERP systems
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple client engagements
