About the Role
Standard Chartered seeks a Market Product Specialist to join the Capital Markets Products and Sales team in Dubai. The role involves pricing and execution of structured products, fixed income, and foreign exchange trades, as well as generating trade ideas and supporting the front office.

Responsibilities
- Price and execute equity derivatives and structured products across asset classes
- Price and execute bond trades (Fixed Income)
- Quote and book Foreign Exchange transactions
- Engage with Retail bank Front Office to generate trade ideas and execute trades
- Prepare and present weekly trade ideas to the front office
- Coordinate with external banks and counterparties on product development
- Support end to end documentation and sales process for product/idea generation
- Provide support to front office to achieve financial targets
- Ensure compliance with internal and regulatory requirements
- Conduct new RM inductions and product calls
Requirements
- Degree in Business, Economics, Finance or related field
- 1 2 years of Derivatives and Structured Product Experience (pricing, execution, marketing, sales)
- Experience in banking or wealth management
- Keen interest in financial and equity markets
- Effective communication and sales skills
- Well organized with high attention to detail
- Computer literate and competent in spreadsheet presentation
- Experience in Macros and VBA is a plus
- Basic analytical and technical skills
- Knowledge in Excel

Job Summary
- Part of CMPS Team focusing on Structured Products, Fixed Income, Foreign Exchange, and Cash Equity
- Engage with Retail bank Front Office on trade ideas and execution
- Ensure accurate execution of orders in fast paced environment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide business support and execute FX deals
- Execute Structured Note Deals
- Provide high standard of client sales, advisory and after sales service
- Minimize operating losses and assist in business practices
- Maintain good relationship with internal and external stakeholders
- Ad hoc projects related to execution and desk activities
- Deal Execution on Foreign Exchange, Fixed Income & Structured Notes
- Help build SP, FI and FX business for UAE
- Ownership of product end to end
- Assist in optimizing existing processes
- Manage risk and advise clients on best practices
- Follow Governance Standards of the Bank

Qualifications
- Degree in relevant subjects such as Business, Economics and Finance
