Role overview
AECOM is recruiting a Project Director to join its growing risk team.
The role leads risk management for major infrastructure projects across multiple sectors.
The position works within the Integrated Programme Controls team and engages with senior stakeholders, customers, clients, and subcontractors.
Responsibilities
- Lead risk management for high-value projects and programmes.
- Implement risk management with project teams and provide input to bids and proposals.
- Perform risk assurance checks and communicate risk data to senior leaders.
- Produce risk reports and facilitate risk identification, assessment, and prioritisation.
- Develop Risk Registers, Risk Management Plans, and Risk Mitigation Plans.
- Conduct QCRA and QSRA using Monte Carlo techniques to establish contingency levels.
- Design risk management frameworks and support cost, scheduling, project controls, and change management teams.
- Manage, coach, and mentor an established team of risk professionals.
Requirements and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognised and accredited university or a risk management qualification such as MOR, APM Risk, or IRM is preferred.
