Role Overview
AECOM is recruiting a Project Director to lead risk management capability for major infrastructure projects across multiple sectors.
The role is part of AECOM's Integrated Programme Controls team and involves engagement with senior stakeholders, customers, internal teams, clients, and subcontractors.
The position manages an established team of risk consultants supporting capital projects across the UK and potentially global projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead risk management for high-value projects and programmes.
- Support effective implementation of risk management with project teams.
- Provide risk input to bids and proposals and perform risk assurance checks.
- Communicate risk data to senior leaders and produce reports for decision making.
- Coach and mentor risk professionals.
- Facilitate risk identification, assessment, and prioritisation.
- Develop risk registers, risk management plans, and risk mitigation plans.
- Conduct QCRA and QSRA, including Monte Carlo analysis, to establish contingency levels.
- Design and implement risk management frameworks.
- Support cost, scheduling, project controls, and change management teams.
