Job Purpose
Support the Record to Report function within Finance Shared Services.
Ensure timely close, ownership of reconciliations, and a robust balance sheet substantiation process.
Maintain the integrity of financial statements through fixed assets, lease accounting, and general journal activities.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with accuracy, timeliness, and IFRS compliance.
- Own bank, intercompany, and balance sheet account reconciliations and resolve variances.
- Support balance sheet substantiation to detect potential misstatements.
- Maintain the fixed asset register, including capitalization, depreciation, impairment testing, and disposals.
- Manage IFRS 16 lease accounting for right-of-use assets and liabilities.
- Prepare general journals with approvals, documentation, and policy compliance.
- Provide audit-ready files and support internal and external audits.
- Partner with Financial Control, FP&A, and Treasury to validate balances and align reporting.
- Support R2R process standardization, reporting packs, automation, and Oracle Fusion adoption.
Education and Certification
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
- CA, CPA, or ACCA professional certification is required.
Experience and Competencies
- Five to eight years of finance operations experience with exposure to R2R, GL, or controllership roles in large or diversified organizations.
- Strong expertise in fixed assets, IFRS 16 lease accounting, reconciliations, and journal control.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, with Oracle Fusion preferred, and advanced Excel and Power BI.
- Technical knowledge of IFRS and financial control requirements.
- Analytical and detail-oriented approach with proactive risk and issue identification.
- Excellent team coordination skills and a governance mindset.
