About the Role
Hitachi Energy seeks an Associate Project Manager to lead Grid Automation orders in Qatar, ensuring customer satisfaction through effective project management. Responsibilities
- Lead the successful execution of Grid Automation Orders booked in QATAR
- Monitor and achieve key KPIs including Revenue, Cash Flow, Inventory, On time Delivery, Customer Satisfaction
- Ensure all order execution activities comply with Hitachi Energy policy, contractual agreements, quality standards, HSE requirements, financial targets, and schedule commitments
- Build strong relations with customers and manage customer satisfaction through on time project execution
- Conduct project reviews with factory management and factory Project Managers to ensure contract fulfilment
- Identify risks, negotiate and resolve escalated issues, especially those raised by the customer
- Plan, monitor, and control project activities across scope, time, and cost parameters
- Ensure portfolio of projects follows good methodology and execution practices in accordance with internal standard procedures
- Lead coordination of customer requests related to execution or additional requests leading to additional sales
- Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines

Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, or equivalent with strong technical background
- Minimum three years’ experience in project management
- PMP certification added advantage
- Experience in Hitachi Energy Products (IEDs & SCADAs) with exposure to Project Management in QATAR
- Strong leadership skills and ability to lead the team and convince stakeholders
- Ability to work under pressure to deliver projects with time, cost, and quality
- Experience of SAP or another ERP platform knowledge is an advantage
- Strong attention to detail
- Capability to develop work practices and implement lessons learned
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under tight deadlines
- Excellent collaboration and work with cross functional and cross cultural team
- Analytical and problem solving mindset

The opportunity
- To ensure customer satisfaction through effective project management and delivering results from order entry to project commissioning that ensure repeatable customer business.
How You’ll Make An Impact
- Leading the successful execution of Grid Automation Orders booked in QATAR.
- Monitor and achieve importance KPIs including Revenue, Cash Flow, Inventory, On time Delivery, Customer Satisfaction, etc.
- Ensure that all order execution related activities are performed in accordance with Hitachi Energy policy, contractual agreements, quality standards, health, safety and environment requirements, financial targets as well as schedule commitments.
- Build up strong relations with customers and manage customer satisfaction by on time execution of projects.
- Project reviews with factory management and factory Project Managers to ensure contract fulfilment.
- Take an active role in identifying risks, negotiating and resolving escalated issues especially those raised by the customer.
- Capability to plan, monitor, and control project activities across scope, time, and cost parameters, ensuring effective coordination with the Head of Project Management Team for regular project reviews.
- To ensure that the portfolio of projects follows good methodology and execution practices in accordance with internal standard procedures, and that projects are closed as per contracts entered with customers.
- Lead the coordination of any customer request whether they are related to execution or additional requests to projects which lead for additional sales.
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, or equivalent with strong technical background
- Experience in Hitachi Energy Products (IEDs & SCADAs) with exposure to Project Management in QATAR.
