Job Purpose
Join a leading global alternative asset manager at a pivotal moment of expansion in the Middle East, to support the growth of the Alternatives franchise across the GCC.
The role will work closely with the Head of Region on capital raising and investor relations for existing clients and prospects for BNP PAM Alts, focusing on institutional and family office LPs.
Your Daily Responsibilities
- Support the capital formation sales effort for sovereign wealth funds, pension institutions, and large family offices, working under the direction of the Head of Region
- Help originate, develop, and convert new investment relationships while supporting the deepening of existing ones
- Assist in positioning the alternatives platform across Real Estate, Private Credit, Private Equity, and Infrastructure strategies
- Support the fundraising process, from first conversation to final allocation, in coordination with the Head of Region
- Prepare client materials and help translate complex strategies into clear, investable narratives
- Coordinate with investment, product, and senior leadership teams to align market feedback with product strategy
- Contribute to the build-out of the firm’s Middle East franchise through execution and client coverage
- Collaborate with internal Alts teams and BNP Paribas group worldwide: Investment, Sales, BNP CIB, BNP WM
- Support the achievement of agreed sales targets and revenue goals
- Help increase visibility of BNP PAM Alts across the GCC, working with the marketing team on events, conferences and proprietary events
- We Welcome Different Combinations Of Skills, Qualifications & Experience
- 4-7 years of experience in institutional sales, capital raising, or investor relations within asset management or financial services
- Exposure to Middle East investors, with developing relationships across the GCC
- Familiarity with sovereigns, pension funds, and large family offices
- Experience supporting fundraising across one or more of: private credit, private equity, or real estate
- Commercially aware, with the ability to support complex client relationships
- Team player with the credibility to engage internally and externally
Your Knowledge And Skills
- Good understanding of alternatives (private credit, private equity, real assets)
- Knowledge of GCC investor landscape and dynamics
- Developing network with institutional investors in the region
- Clear, persuasive communicator with strong presentation skills
- Commercial, solutions-oriented, and execution-driven
- Organised, with strong pipeline management and attention to detail
- Adaptable, proactive, and able to work in a collaborative team environment
- Native Arabic speaker is a plus
