About the Role

Responsibilities
- Prepare and file required Bank Regulatory reports under US GAAP on a daily, monthly, and quarterly basis
- Enforce controls, ensure financial statements are in balance, and prepare reconciliation schedules
- Analyze, reconcile, and review accounts, performing variance analysis and highlighting trends
- Liaise with internal departments (Legal, Compliance, Audit, etc.) and external constituencies (regulators, auditors)
- Identify, escalate, and remediate data quality issues
- Participate in bank examinations and internal/external audits
- Assist with implementation of new Regulatory Reporting tool, including system testing and UAT
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Financial Reporting, Accounting, Regulatory Reporting or equivalent
- Professional working proficiency in English
- Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS
- Knowledge of FBO requirements (preferred)
- Knowledge of Axiom (preferred)
- Knowledge of PowerBI/Query (preferred)
- Master's degree in Accounting or Finance (plus)

Position at a Glance
- The Bank Regulatory Reporting Department is seeking an Assistant Vice President to prepare and review US entities regulatory reports submitted to the Federal Reserve Bank and other regulators.
In Detail
- Assist with maintaining and enhancing BAU production process and control framework
- Prepare and file required Bank Regulatory reports under US GAAP
- Enforce controls and ensure financial statements are in balance; prepare reconciliation schedules
- Analyze, reconcile, and review accounts, performing variance analysis
- Liaise with internal and external constituencies
- Identify, escalate, and remediate data quality issues
- Participate in bank examinations and audits
- Establish communication with Financial Reporting Group, Project Office Group, and Control & Reconciliation Group
- Assist with implementation of new Regulatory Reporting tool, including system testing and UAT
Strengths and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Master degree in Accounting or Finance (Plus)
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Financial Reporting, Accounting, Regulatory Reporting or equivalent
- Knowledge of English required
- Strong regulatory & financial reporting knowledge
- Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and IFRS
- Knowledge of FBO requirements preferred
- Knowledge of Axiom preferred
- Knowledge of PowerBI/Query preferred
- Excel skills with formulas
