About the Role
Emirates Global Aluminium seeks an Associate Manager for Financial Planning & Reporting to manage consolidation and reporting of financials. The role involves supervising FP&A teams, preparing budgets, monitoring performance, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Responsibilities
- Manage consolidation and reporting of financials for the assigned area
- Supervise implementation of functional policies, systems, processes, procedures and internal controls
- Review plant's annual plans and budgets and provide recommendations
- Monitor and report financial performance versus budgets
- Manage consolidation of financial plans and forecasts
- Ensure fixed asset depreciation, reconciliation and impairment assessment are completed
- Review monthly reports including Flash, Financial Statement, Working Capital, etc.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, or equivalent
- 4 7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis role in a large environment, preferably in manufacturing, metal, or mining industry
- Experience of managing a team
- Professional qualifications (CIA, ACCA, ACA, CMS, CIMA or equivalent) are highly recommended

Job Purpose
- To manage consolidation and reporting of financials for the assigned area to support effective decision making and ensure compliance with EGA's policies and international accounting standards.
Key Accountabilities
- Supervise implementation of functional policies, systems, processes, procedures and internal controls.
- Ensure reportees have clear objectives and regular performance monitoring.
- Supervise day to day function of financial planning & reporting sections.
- Review plant's annual plans and budgets and provide recommendations.
- Monitor/control expenditure to facilitate operations and achieve financial performance.
- Manage consolidation of financial plans and forecasts.
- Ensure fixed asset depreciation, reconciliation and impairment assessment are completed.
- Review analysis, interpretation and communication of financial information.
- Supervise development and preparation of additional reporting tools.
- Ensure effective coordination and communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Stimulate subordinates and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance to safety, quality and environmental policies.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, or equivalent.
- Professional qualifications (CIA, ACCA, ACA, CMS, CIMA or equivalent) are highly recommended.
- 4 7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis in a large environment, preferably in manufacturing, metal, or mining industry.
- Experience of managing a team and ability to interact with large group involving different nationals.
- Team management skills, relationship management, in depth knowledge of aluminium manufacturing sector, knowledge of statutory and internal financial management standards, effective communication and presentation skills.
