Job Description

Executive Leadership and Client Relations

• Serve as lead representative and primary client contact throughout all project phases.
• Direct project management teams and coordinate with owners, regulators, and key stakeholders.
• Advise on delivery methods, risk mitigation, procurement strategies, and alternative delivery approaches.

Planning and Strategy

• Support project scope, budget validation, delivery strategy, cost modeling, and schedule frameworks.
• Prepare alternative delivery procurement documents and facilitate stakeholder alignment.

Design and Quality

• Oversee design development for compliance with Qatar Building Code, regulations, and owner specifications.
• Review consultant deliverables for quality, constructability, and completeness.
• Coordinate value engineering and risk mitigation initiatives with design teams.

Construction, Cost, and Closeout

• Oversee cost controls, change management, financial forecasting, and complex project budgets.
• Monitor schedule performance, mitigate risks, and maintain regulatory compliance and quality assurance.
• Coordinate contractors, inspectors, regulatory agencies, and procurement processes.
• Oversee substantial completion, documentation turnover, warranty administration, and financial reconciliation.

Required Qualifications

• 20+ years of progressively responsible project and construction management experience.
• Leadership of large capital projects exceeding $100 million in construction value.
• Experience delivering complex facilities in regulated construction environments.
• Expertise with Progressive Design-Build and traditional Design-Build delivery methods.
• Experience managing fast-track, multi-phase construction programs.
• Ability to manage budgets, schedules, scope, procurement strategies, stakeholders, and project risks.
• Strong understanding of construction contracts, procurement, building codes, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance.
• Excellent client communication skills, executive presence, analytical thinking, and strategic thinking.
• Experience with cost modeling, scheduling software, and project management tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with institutional or public sector clients and alternative procurement methods.
• Experience implementing Lean construction management principles and innovative methodologies.
• Knowledge of Qatar Building Code, local regulations, and Middle East construction practices.
• Experience with mega-projects or large-scale development programs.
• Background in healthcare, institutional, or complex commercial facility construction.
• PMP certification or equivalent.
• Experience with BIM and digital project delivery tools.
