Responsibilities
- Pitch and present work internally and with clients, demonstrating understanding of strategic objectives
- Write engaging content for pharmaceutical/medical technology sectors based on communication objectives
- Ensure all content complies with FDA and/or PAAB medical compliance requirements
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to understand brand guidelines, tone, and voice
- Write long form and short form copy for various media including email, digital ads, direct mail, SMS, sales collateral, websites
- Write creative subject lines and CTAs that impact marketing performance
- Align content strategy to drive acquisition, engagement, and retention
- Consume research and glean insights into different audiences to build user centered content
- Ensure consistency of copy with clients' style, quality, and tone of voice
- Manage time and set clear expectations by staying organized with deadlines
Requirements
- 6+ years of copywriting experience at a pharma/life sciences advertising agency or related industry
- Proven success copywriting in the pharma space
- FDA content submission experience
- Experience directing and overseeing teams of copywriters
- Portfolio of published work including life sciences examples
- Maintain working hours aligned with Eastern Standard Time (EST)
- High school diploma or GED/CAEC
- English proficiency

Here’s what you’ll need
- 6+ years copywriting experience at pharma/life sciences agency.
- Proven success copywriting in pharma space.
- FDA content submission experience.
- Experience directing teams of copywriters.
- Portfolio with life sciences examples.
- Maintain EST working hours.
- High school diploma or GED/CAEC.
- English proficiency.

- PAAB content experience.
- Understanding of engaging HCP and patient audiences.
- Experience tailoring content to audience segments.
- Love for writing and storytelling.
- Exceptional interpersonal and collaboration skills.
- Ability to balance competing priorities.
- Capacity to manage multiple stakeholders.
- Familiarity with regulated industries – ideally pharma or MedTech.
Compensation
- Base pay range: CAD 39.71 to CAD 63.75 per hour.
- Compensation varies based on location, role, skill set, and experience.
