- Assist with inventory, sales, and compliance audits
- Perform daily opening and closing procedures
- Ensure sales floor is adequately stocked
- Coordinate with management for inventory audits and reconciliations
- Assist in receiving and verifying AGCO/wholesale deliveries
Requirements
- CannSell license from AGCO
- Clean Criminal Background check
- 4 5+ years of retail management experience in retail
- Possess or ability to obtain Cannabis Retail Manager License from AGCO
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Sound knowledge of Cannabis plants and different strains
- Knowledge of AGCO standards and local cannabis laws
- Valid First Aid certification considered an asset
- Experience managing in a Unionized environment

Role Overview
- Assistant Store Manager (ASM) at Walkley Road, Ottawa is vital to delivering a distinctive shopping experience.
- The ASM works collaboratively with the SM and company management to manage day to day retail operations.
Sales Associate Support
- Motivate and inspire team members to be positive, friendly, knowledgeable, and hardworking.
- Support SM and team members and provide positive and constructive feedback.
- Support SM and team members on work procedures and policies.
- Follow written SOPs and ensure compliance among team.
- Be accessible and responsive to team member questions and concerns.
- Lead by example and work with staff to handle circumstances in a high volume retail store.
Sales and Customer Service
- Utilize customer and team member feedback to improve customer experience.
- Track all employee and store sales daily to ensure optimal performance.
Daily Store Operations
- Maintain store compliance with all local, state and federal regulations.
- Assist SM(s) with inventory, sales, and compliance audits.
- Perform all daily opening and closing procedures.
- Ensure sales floor is adequately stocked at all times.
- Coordinate with management for daily/monthly/yearly inventory audits and reconciliations.
- Ensure expired/damaged/returned product is logged and disposed of according to regulations.
- Assist in receiving and ensuring AGCO/wholesale deliveries are compliant.
- Provide daily correspondence via email and manager’s log.
- Comply with all HR policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements
- CannSell license from AGCO
- Clean Criminal Background check
- 4 5+ years of retail management experience in retail.
- Possess or Ability to obtain Cannabis Retail Manager License from AGCO.
- Valid First Aid certification considered an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience managing in a Unionized environment.

- Must successfully pass an extensive background check.
- Excellent leadership and management skills.
- Ability to work nights, holidays and weekends and different locations.
Pay Range
- CAD 21.00 CAD 23.00 per hour.
- Unlimited bonus earning potential.
