Job Description
The Assistant Resident Engineer will work alongside the Resident Engineer in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
The role oversees construction activities, project-specification compliance, quality, safety, and technical performance on site.
The position requires experience with mid-rise to high-rise building projects and coordination of multidisciplinary teams.
Site Responsibilities
- Supervise construction activities and conduct inspections covering quality, progress, safety, and compliance.
- Review drawings, specifications, shop drawings, method statements, and construction methodologies.
- Monitor shoring, dewatering, waterproofing, PT slabs, façade works, and structural works.
- Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Maintain inspection, progress, photographic, authority, and handover documentation.
