Job Description
Join the team as an Assistant Resident Engineer in a site-based construction role supporting infrastructure projects.
Work alongside the Resident Engineer to oversee construction activities and maintain quality and safety standards.
This is an opportunity for an early-career engineer to develop technical expertise in a dynamic construction environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor daily construction activities for compliance with project plans and specifications.
- Conduct site inspections and document quality checks and compliance findings.
- Prepare daily reports, progress logs, photographic records, and other site documentation.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate project execution and resolve site issues.
- Analyze technical drawings, specifications, and construction methodologies.
- Monitor and enforce site safety protocols and health and safety regulations.
- Assist with project scheduling, progress tracking, and identifying potential delays or risks.
- Maintain records of site activities, material deliveries, and equipment usage.
- Communicate site progress and emerging concerns to project stakeholders.
- Support quality assurance and assist with construction defects or non-conformances.
