Job Purpose
Support the Relationship Manager in managing a business banking portfolio, preparing credit proposals, coordinating facility documentation and transactions, and maintaining portfolio quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare credit proposals, financial spreads, and supporting credit analysis for the Relationship Manager's review.
- Liaise with customers to obtain financial information, documentation, and transaction requirements.
- Support the structuring, documentation, and utilization of credit facilities.
- Monitor account conduct, facility utilization, excesses, past dues, risk triggers, covenants, and other credit conditions.
- Manage daily customer transactions, payments, and settlements while supporting account profitability.
- Coordinate facility documentation, limit setup, drawdowns, and trade-related transactions with internal departments.
- Maintain accurate, complete, and audit-ready credit files.
- Ensure compliance with applicable internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Documentation Review
- Process and review facility letters and security documents for accuracy and compliance and resolve discrepancies with appropriate parties.
- Review application documents for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulations and policies related to trade finance and cash management.
