Position Overview
The Assistant Project Manager supports the Project Manager and PMC team in overseeing construction projects.
The role helps ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and according to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects from start to finish.
- Support management of project timelines, budgets, and resources.
- Monitor project progress and report performance against client expectations.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and vendors to maintain a smooth workflow.
- Help manage project risks, issues, and change requests.
- Help ensure project deliverables meet quality standards.
- Prepare project documentation, reports, and presentations.
- Attend site visits, project meetings, and client briefings.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
- At least three years of project management experience, preferably within a PMC environment.
- Strong understanding of construction processes and methodologies.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
Preferred Skills
- PMP certification or another relevant project management qualification is preferred.
- Experience in large-scale construction projects is preferred.
