Position Overview
The Assistant Project Manager supports a Project Management Consultancy team overseeing construction projects.
The role helps ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and according to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects from start to finish.
- Support management of project timelines, budgets, and resources.
- Monitor progress and report performance against client expectations.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and vendors.
- Help manage risks, issues, and change requests while maintaining quality standards.
- Prepare project documentation, reports, and presentations.
- Attend site visits, project meetings, and client briefings.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
- At least three years of project management experience, preferably in a project management consultancy environment.
- Strong understanding of construction processes and methodologies.
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
Preferred Skills
- PMP certification or another relevant project management qualification is preferred.
- Experience in large-scale construction projects is preferred.
