About the Job

  • Based at Mandarin Oriental, Doha within the Marketing Department in Doha, the Assistant Marketing Communications Manager supports the Director of Marketing Communications in delivering compelling, brand aligned communications across all channels.
  • The role plays a key part in safeguarding brand integrity, supporting content development, and coordinating marketing, advertising, and media activities in line with Mandarin Oriental brand standards.
  • The Assistant Marketing Manager reports to the Director of Marketing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and execution of integrated marketing and communications campaigns.
  • Ensure all brand assets, content, and materials are accurate, consistent, and brand compliant.
  • Coordinate media plans, content calendars, and campaign documentation.
  • Support public relations activity, including press releases, media liaison, and coverage tracking.
  • Liaise with external agencies, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage the hotel’s image and video library and support photography and videography shoots.
  • Assist with local advertising initiatives and creative briefing.
  • Respond to media and stakeholder enquiries professionally and in a timely manner.
  • Support reporting, research, and administrative duties within the Marketing Communications function.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years’ experience in a similar role within luxury hospitality, luxury retail, agency, or marketing.
  • Strong understanding of brand management, communications, and media relations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.
  • Highly organised, proactive, and detail oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Passionate, professional, and enthusiastic, with a collaborative and solutions focused mindset.
  • Experience in the Middle East is an advantage.
