Responsibilities
- Support in designing, launching, and managing new and existing retail banking products
- Conduct gap analysis and identify new business opportunities and recommendations for improvement
- Interface with Sales, Credit, Operations, Marketing, Compliance, Business Intelligence and other internal stakeholders
- Support in liaising with external stakeholders relevant to the product management role
- Assist in providing a roadmap for Product Lifecycle Management for the products in focus
- Assist in the process of marketing initiatives and promotions of the Retail Banking Group
- Conduct product performance metrics and identify trends and provide customer insights
- Support in conducting training and providing sales tools for new product and promotion launches to front line staff
- Support in developing marketing and sales tools to aid front line staff in achieving financial targets
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in similar fields
- Good knowledge of Retail Banking Products
- Strong analytical skills with understanding of market research and financial analysis
- Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Relationship management skills

Job Purpose
- The Assistant Product Manager is required to assist in product planning and execution functions throughout the product lifecycle.
- They are required to support sales and marketing initiatives by liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure achievement of the Bank’s overall strategy and goals.
Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Support in designing, launching, and managing new and existing retail banking products.
