Role Overview
Provide support to computer engineering faculty throughout students' academic journey.
Assist with teaching, advising, supervising, training, guiding, research, and university stakeholder services.
The role may require flexible working hours.
Teaching Support
- Support a safe and stimulating educational environment.
- Assist with daily teaching and learning activities and develop classroom teaching aids.
- Assist students with lesson assignments individually or in groups.
Laboratories and Research
- Assist with planning, developing, and managing teaching laboratories.
- Help students and researchers conduct experiments, research, and projects.
- Assist faculty with organizing and implementing internship programs.
University Activities
- Participate in college committees and complete course or college tasks assigned by academic leaders.
- Support student advising activities.
- Assist with co-curricular activities within the university and externally.
Qualifications and Experience
- A bachelor's degree in computer engineering is required.
- Strong communication skills and English proficiency are required.
- Adequate knowledge of programming languages such as C, C++, Python, or VHDL is required.
- Ability to use computer engineering software packages and current learning or teaching tools is required.
- Knowledge of hardware design, digital systems, computer architecture, networking, security, and related topics is required.
Knowledge and Skills
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
- Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures.
- Ability to provide activities that encourage student learning.
- Supervisory skills are required.
Reporting and Supervision
Reports to the Dean of the College and is supervised by the Head of Department.
